However, the best place to start is by heading upwards to visit Corcovado, with the dramatic statue of Christ the Redeemer and then to Pao de Acucar, Sugarloaf Mountain, which both offer outstanding views over this incredible city.

Lake Titicaca tour: Puno to Huatajata via Del Sol Island: Zig-zag around Lake Titicaca, from the Peruvian side to the Bolivian side. You will visit the cathedral that houses the &ldquo;Indian Virgin&rdquo;, one of the most important pilgrimage centers for Bolivians and Peruvians. 
Followed on by jumping onboard a hydrofoil as you visit and get to know the history of the Moon Island while reaching the Sun Island, where you'll have lunch.

Touch down at Santiago Airport and we will collect you and take you to your hotel.&nbsp; 
&nbsp;
In the afternoon, once you are settled in, we will enjoy a tour of Santiago, visiting the heart of the city, delightful Cerro Santa Lucia and the thriving main square of the city.&nbsp; 
&nbsp;
Visits to the Fine Arts Museum, enchanting Bellavista neighbourhood and a city centre forest walk you get a fantastic feel for the city.

Day 1

We will ascend to San Cristobal or the Santa Lucia hills depending on which is offering the best views of the city that day. Then, the rest of the day is your own, to either visit the highlights of Negra Island, one of Pablo Neruda&rsquo;s houses, or the UNESCO site at Valpara&iacute;so.

Day 2

Much of today is spent travelling. When you touch down in Lima, we will collect you and take you straight to your hotel. After you check-in, there may be time for a little exploration of the incredible gastronomic scene in this glorious city.

Day 3

Today we explore the historic centre of Lima, declared a Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO. We will revel in its delightful colonial architecture, explore its backstreets and highlights.&nbsp; 
&nbsp;
Once you have the lay of the land, the afternoon is yours to further explore.

Day 4

We fly off from Lima this morning to arrive in the wonderful city of Cusco. We spend the day touring the feast of archeological and historical sites in the city including the main square, the cathedral and the Archeological Park of Sacsayhuaman, one of the most characteristic pieces of the Inca heritage. 
&nbsp;
In the afternoon, we head for Ollaytantambo, where we take the train to Aguas Calientes.

Day 5

A life-changing experience today as we ascend the winding road to Machu Picchu. This is one of the most iconic sites in the world and it is considered an important religious, political and administrative centre of the Inca period.
&nbsp;
 Built in the fifteenth century, Machu Picchu is divided into two large sectors: the agricultural, comprising of a vast network of artificial terraces, and the urban area, consisting of various buildings and squares. We will explore all of this with an incredibly knowledgeable guide so that you come away not only filled with the wonder of your surroundings but know why people chose to build here.&nbsp; 
&nbsp;
In the afternoon we head back to Cusco.

Day 6

We strike out towards Peru&rsquo;s second most famous site, Lake Titicaca. On the way we pay a visit to &ldquo;The Sistine Chapel of the Americas&rdquo;, Raya, the highest point of the road between Puno and Cusco. We also visit the Ruins of Racchi to visit the Temple of Wiracocha (God Sun of the Incas) and the outstanding Museum of Pucara.

Day 7

We spend time out on the fascinating Lake Titicaca today, where people still practice a way of life steeped in history.&nbsp; 
&nbsp;
Crossing to Copacabana in Bolivia, we visit the important pilgrimage site of the &lsquo;Indian Virgin&rsquo; in the Cathedral, before boarding a hydrofoil to explore the lake.&nbsp; 
&nbsp;
We cruise to the remarkable ancient ruins on Sun and Moon Island before transferring to Huatajata where we visit the Ecoladea and Altiplano Museum.

Day 8

On the way to our stay in the capital of eclectic Bolivia, we visit the Archaeological Site of Tiwanaku and get a deeper understanding of the history of one of the oldest civilizations in the Americas. 
&nbsp;
Arriving in La Paz we take the dramatic cable car for an aerial view of the city before settling in to our hotel. 
&nbsp;
Once we are refreshed it is off to the lunar landscapes of Valle de la Luna, where the unique clay landscapes look remarkably like the surface of the moon.

Day 9

Much of today is spent in the air as we travel from the high altitude of La Paz down to sea level in Argentina, arriving in Buenos Aires. This remarkable city feels like a European city and indeed much of it was modelled on Paris.&nbsp; 
&nbsp;
After the mild craziness of La Paz, Buenos Aires is a refined and relaxed city to visit. Hardly any crime, welcoming locals and a way of life that is enviable. Most visitors to the city aspire to returning for longer.

Day 10

A panoramic tour around the city is the order of the day. We start in Plaza de Mayo which houses Casa Rosada, famous for the speech by Evita Peron. The Plaza also houses the stunning Cathedral and Townhall. 
&nbsp;
We continue to the neighbourhood of San Telmo, one of the oldest in the city where the cultural and architectural heritage of the city has been best preserved. It may seem all set out for tourists, but really San Telmo is how people still live in Buenos Aires.&nbsp; 
&nbsp;
Our next stop is La Boca in order to explore its crazy colourful streets before finally visiting Recoleta, the aristocratic area of the city.

Day 11

Buenos Aires is filled with experiences. There are a ton of art galleries, unique shopping, daily concerts at the Teatro Colon and you can explore the remarkable graveyard in Recoleta. Of course, if you are a meat-eater, dining on Argentinian steak is an absolute must.

Day 12

Today we fly to one of the most incredible natural sights in the world, Iguazu Falls. The falls straddle three countries and today we will visit the Argentinian side, where you can get up close and personal with these gargantuan falls. Walkways snake around the various falls, giving you plenty of time to soak in the beauty and power of Iguazu. 
&nbsp;
With free time to explore after lunch, we highly recommend taking &ldquo;The Great Adventure&rdquo;, a trip through the river on board a zodiac combined with a walk through the jungle.

Day 13

In the morning, we visit the falls on the Brazilian side where we walk along the catwalk that leads us to the incredible Garganta del Diablo&rsquo;s Viewpoint. This is where you will appreciate the power of the falls the most, as almost incomprehensible amounts of water flow over the top every second. 
&nbsp;
In the afternoon we fly to Rio, our final stop on our tour.

Day 14

Our day tour today takes us to two of the great sites in Rio.&nbsp; 
&nbsp;
We arrive at the base of Mt. Corcovado to ascend to the top and enjoy a panoramic view of the city. There we find the statue of Christ the Redeemer, declared one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. 
&nbsp;
Then, we continue towards the famous P&atilde;o de A&ccedil;&uacute;car, that offers a 360 degree view of the city, along its stunning waterfront. Watch as incoming planes bank past you to make perfect landings at Rio international.

Day 15

You have a free day today to head out and explore Rio before heading home tomorrow.&nbsp; 
&nbsp;
Head out to visit the famous Maracana national football station and its incredible museum, or take to the skies and hang glide over the city, an exceptional memory to take home with you. There are art districts, museums, or head for a guided Favela tour to see how this almost autonomous region of Rio functions.&nbsp; 
&nbsp;
Or, of course, just chill on Copacabana or Ipanema beaches.

Day 16

We will transfer you to meet up with your scheduled flight at a time that is convenient for you.
